Halloween Parties!

I guess I'm here...knee deep in preschool, elementary school...and Halloween Parties! How did I get here...to this wonderful land called Motherhood? It seems like just a few minutes ago I was in a new, fun romance with my sweetheart; I blink and 12 years later we've arrived at such a wonderful place...

I love being a Mommy...and although it presents lots of challenges, for today I get to be a kid; I am making spooky fingers and eyeballs for Kelsey's class party. I can't wait to see their reaction to them! I will post pictures later.

I hope you have a wonderful time being silly, playing, trick-or-treating, and just being a kid again!

Jack's Letters

Jackson loves to write letters on his magna doodle...in fact, he was busy doing just this for about an hour this evening! The process is: I write the words, he meticulously traces over each letter, then he proudly shows us his work...oh, and we give him LOTS of applause!
Tonight he was really into family names...so here he is showing off his work! We love Gran and Alyssa!

Valentine's Dessert

This past weekend Matt and I attended a marriage conference at our church. Clay and Renee Crosse came and encouraged us in having a holy home...it was such a great time of focus for us personally and as a couple. We are excited to see how God draws the kids into relationship with Himself and how He continues to work in our lives!
We had a pretty low key Valentine's Day...just LOVED being together for family dinner and games! Isn't Valentine's Day all about dessert...the kids think so!
Jack was so proud he all all of his cake...and wanted a popsicle to top it off!

Here We Are!

Well, I'm doing it...I'm finally doing it (though still not completely sure how)!!! I'm setting up and committing to KEEP UP with a family blog. Lizzie, you inspired me a while back to do this, but it was so overwhelming every time I put much thought into it. But here we are! So exciting! I will be posting new family pics often and hope you enjoy watching our lives from your view!
